Job Description-
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyse, and interpret financial data for business decision-making purposes.
- Develop and maintain complex Excel-based financial models to aid in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Support the finance team in various ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, assisting in their professional growth and development.
- Assist in external audits and interact with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
