Database Analyst
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain database structures to meet the needs of our organization’s business applications.
Analyze database performance to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and improve query efficiency.
Implement data migration strategies to move data between different database systems.
Develop and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
Troubleshoot and debug database issues to ensure the stability and availability of our database systems.
Document database schemas, procedures, and configurations to maintain clear knowledge and facilitate collaboration.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices.
Recommend and implement data warehousing and data mining solutions to extract insights from our data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Database Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Knowledge of NoSQL database technologies, such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve database issues.
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills to maintain clear and concise database documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
