Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Deliverable
● Review & Validation
● Review and validate vendor-delivered architecture, system designs, and implementation against product specifications.
● Conduct code reviews of vendor deliverables, catching inconsistencies, spec drift, and fabricated or misaligned values.
● Ensure seamless data flow and user experience across the user journey in the app.
2. AI Integration Oversight
● Review and validate prompt engineering strategies, YAML-based configuration specs, and conversational AI pipelines delivered by the vendor.
● Verify that AI-driven features (modules, routines, conversational simulations) adapt correctly to regional and cultural contexts as specified.
● Understand LLM API integration patterns (prompt assembly, token budgets, model routing, safety gating) well enough to evaluate vendor decisions.
3. Spec Management & Quality Assurance
● Maintain and validate product specification documents (YAML configs, state schemas, engine rules) as the source of truth.
● Identify gaps, contradictions, and errors in vendor-delivered documentation and diagrams.
● Validate that user progress tracking, state management, and safety systems work as specified.
● Manage integration testing across front-end, back-end, and AI components.
4. Collaboration & Communication
● Work closely with product, UX, and content teams to ensure all AI outputs are practical, resonant, and relevant for users from diverse backgrounds.
● Translate complex AI and system architecture concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
● Serve as the primary technical point of contact between the vendor and internal teams.
● Stay current with GenAI advancements and flag opportunities to enhance the app’s core value proposition.
Requiements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related field.
Working knowledge of Python backend services and API integration — strong enough to read and review vendor-written code.
Understanding of how LLM-based applications work end-to-end: prompt assembly, context management, token budgets, model routing, and safety layers.
Basic understanding of voice AI pipelines (ASR/TTS).
Familiarity with AWS services (DynamoDB, Redis, Lambda) and basic CI/CD.
Strong YAML/JSON literacy — ability to read, validate, and maintain complex configuration-driven systems.
Familiarity with state machines and event-driven architectures.
Ability to review technical documentation and catch inconsistencies, missing values, and spec drift.
Ability to balance technical depth with user empathy and business impact.
